Warm Weather Shipping Policy
At Stefanelli’s Candies, we take the utmost pride in our products. It is our hope that they’re delivered in EXACTLY the same condition as they leave us, but sometimes nature has other plans!
Although we have no control over the temperature OUTSIDE your box of handcrafted temptations, you can help us in preserving what’s inside by following these warm weather shipping guidelines.

Ice packs: When the weather is warm, we STRONGLY suggest adding a cold pack (or two for larger orders) to your cart, especially when your order contains chocolate, taffy, and gummy candy.

Express Shipping Service: For climates that regularly exceed 65 degrees Fahrenheit, we HIGHLY recommend selecting express shipping services to avoid delays that could contribute to melted or damaged products. Please note, Standard Priority is not a guarantee due to delays within the United States Post Office, while Express Shipping is guaranteed.
- Be ready for us! Choose a shipping address where someone can accept it right away. If no one is there to accept the package, we suggest leaving a note telling the driver/postal worker not to leave it in the sun.
IMPORTANT: Having provided critical warm weather shipping guidelines, Stefanelli’s Candies is not responsible for damaged or melted candy that is a result of actions taken on the part of the Chocolate Lover purchasing said treats (i.e. choosing a shipping method other than the recommended Express Shipping Service, not including enough ice packs, etc.). Additionally, buying the cold packs does not imply a guarantee that your candy will not melt, and by not purchasing enough ice packs, by removing the ice pack from your shopping cart completely, or disregarding one or all parts of our warm weather policy, you are taking full responsibility for any melting of the chocolate (or various other treats) during the shipping process. Please use your judgment when ordering candy since we cannot provide a refund or credit for melted candy.
